Driven by a deep passion for animals, Ra bridges conventional science and intuitive understanding to create a holistic healing practice.
Ra has a background in Science (medical sciences) and Sports Physiotherapy. She worked at the NSW Academy of Sport treating elite athletes during the 2000 Olympics.
While traveling in Europe Ra discovered the powerful and efficient healing results that Kinesiology can bring. She learnt all she could about Kinesiology along with Theta Healing, Acupuncture, Reiki and other energy healing modalities.

Using this combination, Ra worked for around 5 years in London with Elle McPherson who kindly referred her friends, and still to this day Ra treats many of them, their families and their animals via video consultations.

About 10 years ago through her beloved black Labrador Jet, Ra became very passionate about Animal Communication and animal healing methods. Since then she has studied many courses in this area with the " Grandmother of Animal Communication", the incredible, Penelope Smith and now specialises in helping animals locally and worldwide using all these skills together with her innate intuitive and telepathic clarity which she has had since childhood.

During her Refresh sessions she “listens” deeply, using Telepathic Animal Communication techniques, otherwise known as Animal Whispering or Interspecies Communication. She thus receives the impressions sent to her by the animal about what they are feeling, thinking and what they need in order to be their calmest, happiest and healthiest selves.

She also uses a myriad of healing methods from her extensive tool bag to tailor each session to meet each animal’s unique needs. Her work is also referred to as - Animal or Pet Intuitive, Holistic Pet Healing, Pet Communication, Animal Energy Healing, Pet Healing, Animal Telepathy etc.. all are different ways of describing the same wonderful, compassionate and holistic service that Ra provides

Significant positive shifts are noticed after just one session and they increase with progressive sessions.

Pet parents often personally benefit greatly from Ra's animal Refresh sessions too through insights and teachings from their beloved furry friends as well as receiving some healing downloads for themselves (if they choose) as appropriate for the individual. Follow up sessions for the humans alone are very beneficial as well if needed.

I have been blessed with knowing Ra for many years now - having starting out with healings for myself. When I got my dearest rescue pup Riley I had a few ‘issues’ with his behaviour after he had been treated so badly when he was on the streets- things I would never have known or understood without Ra’s help. She has been a constant go to whenever I am unsure as to what is going on with my pup as well as any needs he may have, dietary wise or supplement wise. What to Expect from a HAPPY ANIMALS Session
A consultation with Ra Ansems-Ridout of Happy Animals Byron Bay, whether in-person or by phone, is an opportunity for direct two-way telepathic communication with your animal companions. You can get questions answered about problems you are having with your animal friends. You can learn to understand their viewpoints better, how they think, what they do and don't understand, and how to treat them to create more cooperation and a better partnership in living or working together.
All non-human animals telepathically communicate. This is not something spooky or weird, but it is an inborn ability of all beings, including humans. Most people in this culture are socially conditioned from childhood to deny telepathic communication, and so they lose the ability. Humans who are sensitive, receptive, and attentive can recover, develop, or increase their own ability to communicate with other species. Sometimes people call me an "animal psychic," and this makes some people think I know everything about their animals or, worse yet, themselves! Psychic comes from the word "psyche," meaning "soul" or "spirit." Telepathic communication is psychic because it's a connection with the soul or spirit of animals—their essence or true self including their thoughts, purposes, values, perceptions, understanding, and other mental and spiritual qualities. But, It is no different from a heart-to-heart discussion with another human, where both people are really listening and understanding each other. While I can usually perceive a lot about the animal from the first connection, I do not usually know details of their lives and feelings until I ask about them. Nor do I know (or care to know) irrelevant details about your personal life, so you're safe 😂
This is not a psychic reading, if your animal doesn’t know about something then I won’t either. We go from what is known about the situation from your viewpoint, to the unknown—what the animal thinks about the situation. I specialize in getting the animal's viewpoint, feelings, perceptions, or attitudes by asking them questions and listening to what they think, feel, or visualize.
It is good to know too that this communication does not equal compliance from your animal, they like us have their free will. This direct communication may give a whole new outlook on the animal or problems with them and how to handle them. Animal companions are generally very grateful to have their people understand their point of view. You may have received some of the animal's body language or telepathic communication before, but filling out the picture can be extremely rewarding.
We work together to resolve misunderstandings, behavior problems, and the psychosomatic aspects of illnesses or injuries that do not respond well to veterinary care. I can sometimes advise on nutritional or naturopathic needs, and I can work to restore body energy balance through a number of healing modalities. Consultations can be kept confidential, or other people can observe and listen if that is comfortable for you and your animal companions.
How to Prepare In the beginning, I may ask you a few basic questions about the animal to help me put their answers into some context and therefore understand them better. I can tune in with your animal friends and find out basic matters like how they feel about life, their purposes, concerns, attitudes, or enjoyments, but you facilitate a consultation by asking specific questions that are important to you.
There will be periods of silence during the session where I’m tuning into the animal. Animal companions may not talk about your areas of concern unless you focus their attention on them. Questions about health, attitudes, behavior, environment—past, present, future, are all welcome. So, please have all your questions ready, written if necessary. If you'd like to record the consultation, have your phone ready for that if in person or ask me to record the session before hand if the session is via zoom. Our motivation is compassion for all beings and a desire to help all species understand each other better, particularly to help restore the lost human ability to freely and directly communicate with other species.

We honor those that come to us for help, not judging, condemning, or invalidating them for their mistakes or misunderstanding, but honoring their desire for change and harmony.

We know that to keep this work as pure and harmonious as possible requires that we continually grow spiritually. We realize that telepathic communication can be clouded or overlaid by our own unfulfilled emotions, critical judgments, or lack of love for self and others. We walk in humility, willing to recognize and clear up our own errors in understanding others� communication (human and non-human alike).

We cultivate knowledge and understanding of the dynamics of human, non-human, and interspecies behavior and relationships, to increase the good results of our work. We get whatever education and/or personal help we need to do our work effectively, with compassion, respect, joy and harmony.

We seek to draw out the best in everyone and increase understanding toward mutual resolution of problems. We go only where we are asked to help, so that others are receptive and we truly can help. We respect the feelings and ideas of others and work for interspecies understanding, not pitting one side against another but walking with compassion for all. While doing our best to help, we allow others their own dignity and help them to help their animal companions. We cultivate understanding and ability in others, rather than dependence on our ability. We offer people ways to be involved in understanding and growth with their fellow beings of other species.

We acknowledge our limitations, seeking help from other professionals as needed. It is not our job to name and treat diseases, and we refer people to veterinarians for diagnosis of physical illness. We may relay animals� ideas, feelings, pains, symptoms, as they describe them or as we feel or perceive them and this may be helpful to veterinary health professionals. We may also assist through handling of stresses, counseling, and other gentle healing methods. We let clients decide for themselves how to work with healing their animal companions� distress, disease or injury, given all the information available.

The goal of any consultation, lecture, workshop, or interspecies experience is more communication, balance compassion, understanding, and communion among all beings. We follow our heart, honoring the spirit and life of all beings as One. 💞
